Movie Theater?

I remeber as a young lad, sailing on the Mardi Gras in 1975 and my sister and I watched "Bride of Young Frankenstien" at the movie theater. Do any of the ships in Carnival's Fleet still have a full size movie theater or is that a thing of the past?

My first stateroom was right across the hall from that movie theatre. I saw Beverly Hills Cop in there. I was the only one in there at the time! What a memory! Thanks!:)

No movie theater. They may show movies in one of the lounges on "shore days." There's also the outdoor movie screen on the Liberty [and soon on the Freedom]

That goes back to the days when there were no TVs in the staterooms, and you really COULD disconnect from reality for a week. :)

The Disney ships have a theater with full size screen and first run movies.

maybe they removed it in a dry dock to allow for more cabins or other public spaces?

 

movies have always been shown in one of the lounges when i've been aboard a Fantasy class CCL ship. don't even remember a movie on victory, but, then again probably wasn't looking for it.

 

on a fantasy class, you can get candy for the movies in the liquor store area. in july, my kids saw Benchwarmers.
