Hey Elizabeth,

I went to the Loehmans at Perimeter, there is a Ross right next door and then a new Supertarget in the same plaza.

I love Filene's but Perimeter is closer so I thought I would hit there first.

I am so glad I read this post :D Thanks

I got a brand new one on EBay for 28$ and I LOVE it! I bought it for a cruise last year and even though I have lost 15lbs this year and come down 2 sizes (18 to a 14) it only looks better! I don't even have to buy a new suit for this year's cruise...you get what you pay for and these suits are worth a bit more for sure! I agree with others who have commented that they are very warm when you are not in the water though...they don't "breathe" very well...

i use to be a "swim suit specialist" for a major department store. the first time i personally bought a swimsuit for over $145 to wear at the lake and the pool i thought i had lost my mind...until i got educated on suits. that particular gottex suit lasted me years. it was my favorite suit that i ever owned! there is the brand miracle suit, and then there are suits out there that are "miracles". you can match up your particular body "flaw" the many of the hang tags to find the perfect suit. remember, suits are not made to last forever, but if you take care of them, they will last alot longer. flourescent lights (kind in stores) are killers for fabrics. that's why sometimes buying at discount stores such as ross, clearance outlets etc are not good places to find suits. many of these stores have had the clothing hanging around a while. the lights "dry rot" the fabric. yea, i know they look great hanging there, but i promise, there is wear and tear on your clothing.

treat yourself to a new suit. go to a nice store where there is a knowledgeable associate to help you. try on a suit you would not normally think you would like. my favorite suit in the world was the last one i tried on, and thought it looked "frumpy" on the hanger. BOY WAS I WRONG. try on every suit in your size that supports your needs. example, try on the waist minimizers. but if you are short, do not try on the waist minimizer in the long torso category. some that look frumpy, old ladyish, out of style etc...wrong color etc...try them all. even if you do or don't like floral prints etc, try them. they are all made a way to "play tricks on your eyes" to make you appear slimmer, smaller bust, larger bust, thighs smaller etc. i would certainly suggest every suit in your size that meets the needs you have. a qualified fit associate can help you. be prepared when you try on. don't go with only a small amount of time to shop. it takes a while. don't take small kids. it's time consuming. don't go after a huge meal. do purchase a cover up if there is one available that matches your suit. trust me, you will regret it later if you don't.

don't be affraid to splurge on something that will make you look great!

happy hunting
