9th B'day - 1st day!!

My daughter will turn nine on the first day of our cruise. Will the staff let her stay with the 6-8 group or will she have to go with the 9-11? I am not going to let her sign out if she stays with the 9/11 group. I'm just not sure if she will feel too young. Any thoughts would be appreciated!!!

From what I've heard, they are pretty rigid with staying within the age groups unless they have a small amount of kids and they combine groups. Since she's 9, I would imagine she'll be put with the 9-11 group. They won't allow her to check herself out unless you sign saying she can. I can't believe that is actually an option, but oh well!
