San Juan Luggage Question

For our Galaxy cruise departing from San Juan next month, we will be taking a cab from the airport direct to the ship. Are there porters or someone who take our luggage in order to be placed on the ship? Most of our recent cruisies have only been for a few days and we just usually do carry on.

Thanks in advance.

but from what I remember there are porters but in limited supply. The will assist getting you to your cab but once at the pier you may be on your own. I don't think there is a service from the airport directly to the ship. Have fun!

We just did the Galaxy from San Juan in Mid January 2007. A cab from Airport to PanAm pier is only roughly 20$. The cab took us right to the entrance of the cruise and there were porters there to take our luggage. A 2 - 3$ tip was sufficient. When we debarked we payed the 20$ per person to have our luggage go straight to airport, you of course still have to take it thru customs. But then we were able to go to the old port for several hours with out luggage.
