GT108 Posted January 31, 2007 #1 Share Posted January 31, 2007 Hi Will be visiting Grand Cayman next month. Been there before and did the Stingray City. Looking for something low key this time. Thinking about seeing some of the other attraction, such as Turtle Farm, Hell and other touristy sites. Did not want to do the tour with the ship. Was wondering if there are any tour buses from the dock that takes you to a few places around the island. If yes, what is the cost of the tour? Thanks a bunch. KVR Posted January 31, 2007 #3 Share Posted January 31, 2007 When we were there on a land vacation we did the 6 1/2 hour Island tour with Tropicana Tours. We went to the following places: See the Capital - Georgetown Caribbean Arts & Crafts Conch Shell House Tortuga Rum Shoppe (both Blackbeards and Tortuga) Points of Interest Along 7 Mile Beach A Visit to "Hell" Pedro St. James Picturesque Blow Holes East End Ship Wrecks Native-Style Luncheon on the South Coast It was just us (DH and I) and 1 other couple, so we got to amend the schedule to our liking. We also went to the Sting Ray Brewery. Was a great day and nice overview of the Island.
