RC Mascot????

Greetings,

Even though my family and I are Carnival fans, we want to try RCI especially now that Voyager is coming to Galveston. One thing my son absolutely loves is Funship Freddy on Carnival, is there anything like this on RCI. Moreover does anyone know about both programs to give similarities as in schedules, activities and so on as well as differences?

I didn't see anything resembling funship freddy on the Explorer. I have never heard of anyone talking about a mascot for RCCL but with the ice skating rink, the rock climbing wall, the mini golf and all the other activities you won't miss freddy. Frankly on our 3 Carnival cruises if I saw him coming I ran the other way.LOL

 

Sorry don't know about the kids' programs other than the posters who have used Adventure Ocean rave about it.

Thanks sue, Yes the activities look great on the ship, my son is 3 and he just loves Freddy. I was just curious if RC had something like that.

There's the Adventure Ocean "Inky the octopus" mascot. I've seen the stuffed animal and also a keychain/backpack, maybe a t-shirt??????"

Specifically I would like to know the similarities and differences between Camp Carnival and Adventure Ocean; as in schedules, babysitting, activities, mascot, beepers and other policies.

Hopefully someone else can help you out with that. I wasn't a parent yet when I sailed with RCI, and I didn't take my son when I went last summer with Carnival.

 

Oh- and there's no mascot on RCI.
