Repositioning Cruise

On May 5, I am going on a repositioning cruise aboard the Grandeur of the Seas. It is hitting a few of the ports I have not been to, so that is a plus. But, is there any drawback to being on a repositioning cruise? Other than the comlications/expense of the dual one-way plane tickets?

Nope! That really is the only difference. and there tend to be more older people and fewer children just by virtue of the time factor. Repos are great.

Loved the Repo that we were on. We loved flying down, and then taking the slow boat home :)

Not at all - I love to go on repo cruises and will actually look for them when booking a trip.

Repo's are our first choice if itinerary is right...........last year we did a 15 day through the Panama Canal on the Radiance and there were a total of 19 kids on board.........prices (when first coming out) were quite reasonable and the most relaxing cruise of the 12 we have taken.........

We found the repo cruise through the Panama Canal the most relaxing cruise we've ever been on. It also gave us a change to see San Francisco and spend a few days there which was a big plus/.
