Bringing booze on board- wine list availability

Is it okay to bring two bottles of scotch on board when we first embark? Can we also bring a couple of bottles of wine?

Is the Insignia wine list available so that I know what my options will be?

I thought Oceania allowed guests to bring liquor and wine aboard. If so, why should bottles be packed in checked luggage instead of carry on bags? Or were you talking about flying with liquor or wine?

On our past two cruises with oceania we had no problem just carrying it on. We like to take a bottle with us for pre dinner drinks in our room while we are getting ready.

It is permitted to carry aboard wine in moderation. Hard liquor may not be brought aboard acc to recent communication from Oceania's Guest Relations.
