Does anyone who has stayed at the Holiday Inn Express near the Jaxport know if there is a place between the hotel and the cruise terminal where you can purchase alcohol and soft drinks. Is there anything within walking distance of the Holiday Inn Express. I talking about the one closest to the terminal.

There is a new Gate gas station, convienence store on hecksire drive and 9a, 9a is also being changed to 295. this would be within a mie of the port entrance. ask at the holiday Inn for directions. I fish that area alot and that is where we always stop for breverages of choice.

I was wondering if anyone knew if there is someplace either at the airport or the pier where you can buy wine or soda. We are taking the shuttle right from the airport to the port so it would have to be within walking distance. I would really hate to have to haul it from home.... Thanks!!!!

Thanks I will check that place out. I was just wondering what was around the holiday express.

The gate station is not going to have what you want. Gate is nothing more than a convenience store/gas station.

South across the Dames Point bridge is going to be the kind of stores AND NEIGHBORHOOD that you would be looking for. A trip for the night before.

If you need help putting stuff together for your night before let me know. I live just across the Dames Point from the port and would be willing to work something out with you to help. rogerihle@yahoo.com.

There's a duty free shop in the airport.
