Fort Lauderdale to Miami

I'm planning a cruise in March. For cost reasons, we will be flying into Fort Lauderdale the night before our cruise leaves out of Miami. Does anyone have any tips on the best way to get from the Fort Lauderdale airport to the hotel and then from the hotel to the Miami sea port? We don't have any particular hotel in mind and were hoping to find one with shuttles. The cheaper the better! Thanks!

I a doing something similar, we plan to use Tri County Shuttle Service, cost around $18.00 per person, from the hotel we will just grab a cab. Search this forum for Tri County and their web site is posted. Hope this helps;)

Yes, Tri County (floridalimo.com) is what we always use. The shared van ride is $18 per person, a private town car for up to four is $64. Shared van is NOT available for a return to the airport and the town car price jumps to $124 for the return but includes gratuity.

We just rent a car so we have it at out disposal..rent it form fll to return it to MIA and they shuttle u over to port for free..to rent a car comes to 37.53 for a mid-size, which is actually around 15 dollars less than economy or compact. Just did it for Feb cruise and will do it again in April
