Tati1216 Posted February 5, 2007 #1 Share Posted February 5, 2007 This is my first cruise and I am thinking of taking my laptop so that I can backup my pictures daily. For those that take the laptops how do you store them when you're not in the cabin? Do you bring it on with your carry on luggage? Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated. adamsmom Posted February 5, 2007 #2 Share Posted February 5, 2007 My husband brings his on as carryon luggage. We have never felt the need to hide it when we leave them cabin, though. But I guess if you feel like you should, you could put it in a suitcase under the bed or stash it in a drawer or on a shelf under some clothes. Are you bringing your laptop JUST for this reason? Does your camera take those SD memory cards? You can store hundreds of pictures 1 GB card runs about $30 and a 2 GB card about double that. Your camera will transfer pictures right off the card to your PC when you get home. A much safer option then bringing the laptop.
