ortho_rn63 Posted February 5, 2007 #1 Share Posted February 5, 2007 My Daughter, who will turn 18 during our cruise , and I are first time cruisers. This board is full of great advice. We were wondering what kind of drinks, tea, water ect are included in the cost of the cruise? She is a juice fan. We will be on NCL Dream. Thanks in advance!:)
fantavet Posted February 5, 2007 #2 Share Posted February 5, 2007 I have not been on NCL yet, but I know most cruises have the standard fruit punch/lemonade machine during the buffets. But in general drinks are not included. From the NCL website... Unlimited Fountain Soda Includes: Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, Ginger Ale, Tonic Water, Soda Water The entire cruise must be purchased. Non-Refundable. Prepaid @ $5.75 per day per person x Cruise days $5.75/day With this pass your daughter can get what ever soda she wants, unlimited. Bottled Water is not included and is generally $$

Kerry&LuAnn Posted February 6, 2007 #4 Share Posted February 6, 2007 Usually coffee, tea, ice tea, milk, and fruit juices are available in the dining rooms and buffets at no extra charge. You would have to pay for soda pop and specialty drinks.
johnql Posted February 6, 2007 #5 Share Posted February 6, 2007 Juice is available only at breakfast on NCL. If your daughter really loves juice, my advice is to take along a thermos and fill it up at the breakfast buffet. Then, keep it on ice in your cabin (your steward will keep your ice bucket filled with ice). Other than that, coffee, tea, iced tea, and milk (whole and low-fat) are available. Espresso and capuccino are also available at dinner (no charge).
