DaisyGirl55 Posted February 6, 2007 #1 Share Posted February 6, 2007 For those of you who will be in the port of Ketchikan on the 4th of July, you might be interested in the following information regarding their annual Independance Day Parade. I have some excursions planned, and did not want to miss the parade! From the Greater Ketchikan Chamber of Commerce: The parade route goes right by the docks, and I have always maintained that everyone on the cruise ship has the best seats in town. (Especially for anyone that has a berth on the dockside with a balcony.) The parade starts @ 11:30 a mile and half or so, north of the downtown area (where the cruise ships dock) and hits downtown between 12:15 – 12:40. I’ll be on a Balcony directly below a restaurant called Steamers at the Dock, with the radio station and loud speakers. Holler over and wave and I’ll wave back to ya!
