Better snorkeling:Montego Bay or Grand Cayman?

My son's 22 & 17 will be first time cruisers this April. They both really want to go snorkeling.

 

I am trying to decide where is "better" snorkeling - Montego Bay or Grand Cayman?:confused:

The poor people of Jamaica eat all the fish they can catch from the waters that surround the island, consequently, there are fewer fish for tourists to see.

 

The Cayman Islands have wisely set aside quite a bit of reef area as no fishing zones, so there are many more fish to see.

 

There really is no comparison between the 2 islands. Jamaica, poverty both above and below the water. Grand Cayman, high standard of living for people on the island and fish in the water.
