pushing50 Posted February 15, 2007 #2 Share Posted February 15, 2007 Pedsnurse, Cemetery Beach is an awesome place to snorkel. Not only that, there’s lots of shade in addition to beautiful sun and sand. You can take a taxi for a few dollars or the bus runs right there for a dollar or so. There are no facilities whatsoever, so you’ll need to bring everything you’ll need for the best free beach day that money can’t buy! My son and I had to take turns snorkeling because we were afraid to leave our stuff unattended, even though no one else was there that day, except the residents of the cemetery.:D Next time I’ll bring a waterproof pack so the wallets, camera etc can be brought into the water with us. The reef is out a bit from shore and we didn’t have life vests, which was a little scary.
