Boat service from Capri to Amalfi

Does anyone have experience using any of the boat services from Capri to Positano or Amlafi. We re considering takng the hydrofoil to Capri when we get off the ship i n Naples then taking one of the boats to Amalfi then back to Naples. Thank-you for any help

We have done it a few years ago... I didn't get sick but MANY did. We went in August so the seas were supposed to be calm, BUT there were many who wished they hadn't.

We took the boat from Positano back to Sorrento with no problem. You pass Capri off in the distance on this route. The one we took had open air seating on top and tons of seating inside on the main level. Just watch your departure times. There are several different companies and you can check on line for departure times.

There may be a problem w/the H'foil to Positano. They're doing some kind of work on the terminal area, and it's s'posed to be completed by June....But in Italian time, that may mean a bit later.....
