Seattle Pier 66 to Airport

My wife and I will be spending a week driving around Washington and Oregon after our cruise on NCL in July and I would like some suggestions on transportation.

 

My plan is to fly into SEA the day before the cruise and take a shuttle to the Crowne Plaza Hotel, then take a cab to the pier (66) the next day. I have reserved a rental car at the airport for the week after the cruise.

 

What is the best way to get back to the airport to pickup the rental car? We won't have a flight to catch so timing is not too critical, but I don't want to wait around at the terminal too long. Is there a service that could take us directly to the rental car lot (Dollar)?

Check with your preferred rental company and see if they have an office downtown ... you might be able to pick up your car somewhere near the cruise terminal. Otherwise, I'd bite the bullet and take a cab from the pier to the airport. It should run you 25 or 30 dollars for that.

As the previous poster stated, we just rented a car from the downtown location and dropped it off at the airport. There wasn't an additional charge with Hertz to do this. I can't speak for the other rental car agencies.
