in_search_of_fun Posted February 12, 2007 #1 Share Posted February 12, 2007 I'm getting ready to book the Mexican Riviera on the Pride. I'll be taking 2 teenagers, a 15 year old girl and a 19 year old boy, so I've been reading up on the teen activities available. Seems the age cut-off for most of the teen activities is 17 or 18. So what do the 18-21 year olds do? Are they not allowed in the teen clubs, activites etc. Are they allowed in the adult clubs? Just trying to figure out what my 19 year old will be doing! Thanks! cali-croozer Posted February 12, 2007 #2 Share Posted February 12, 2007 We'll be in the same situation the next time we cruise, my "boys" will be 18 and 19; too old for Club02. The 18-20 year olds can go into the adult clubs and the casino. And, of course there's the usual daytime activities: basketball, ping-pong, swimming, games, etc. My 19 year old will be fine as long as there's a basketball game going on. My 18 year old......hopefully there will be others his age to hang out with.
caribbean dreams Posted February 12, 2007 #3 Share Posted February 12, 2007 There is no age limit in any of the clubs except for the disco, after 11pm it becomes 18 & over, you are required to show ID at the door. Your 15 year old will be able to hang out in the teen club and arcade, my teens have no problems finding friends to hang out with. Remeber the drinking age in Mexico is 18, your older son will be able to indulge, also it is very easy for them to find booze on the ship so if you are worried about that, just keep an eye on him and know who he is hanging out with. Kat006 Posted February 16, 2007 #4 Share Posted February 16, 2007 I wish your 19 year olds were coming on my cruise with me, cause I have the same fears (taking a trip this year with my parents that was much more acceptable last year, but it had to be postponed a year)... Along those lines, what is the drinking age onboard?
harleygirl4rb Posted February 16, 2007 #5 Share Posted February 16, 2007 We are also taking our daughter in June who will be 18. I hope there are other teens to hang out with. Since her brother is only 12 who is also going.
