Ear infections

DH experiences ear infections and had to stay out of the water for 4 days on our recent Caribbean cruise. A fellow passenger who was a diver had a solution of 50% denatured alcohol and 50% red wine vinegar. It wouked wonders although DH smelled like a salad. Can't find denatured alcohol and wondered if anyone else heard about this and knows where to buy it.

You can find over the counter ear solutions. Auro-Dry is one (I think that's the right name), and there are a couple of more that are for swimmers. We always have one of these with us when we're diving and use it daily to dry our ears out.
