I just reserved this tour for hubby and me for our cruise in May. Has anyone does this exact excursions? What are your thoughts? Our two main goals are to take pretty nature pictures (falls and gardens) and would like the guides recommendations on shopping.

We did this a few years ago (falls, tubing, rain forest, shopping) and it was wonderful. We have booked it again for our family cruise in April. Definitely ask for Oscar. He is wonderful. The falls are beautiful. During the tour, Oscar would stop to tell us about the different plant life and would pick leaves for us to try to figure out what it was. He was very flexibile and allowed us as much time as we needed. As for the shopping, he obviously knew many of those in the straw market and made sure the vendors knew our group was with him. He definitely kept an eye out for us. As for the regular shopping we went to a type of strip mall, I think it was called the Tajamahal. He recommended one store for souvenirs and they gave an extra discount since we were with him. There were also some liquor and jewelry stores there. Definitely buy your Blue Mountain Coffee while in Jamaica. The price was almost double at the other ports.
