theostwalts Posted February 14, 2007 #1 Share Posted February 14, 2007 Has anyone ever used a private limo for transportation on St. Thomas. We are considering booking a daysail out of Red Hook and after reading some of the posts about taxis, I was wondering if it would be eaiser to book a limo or just use a taxi. Based on the rates listed for taxi service, it would not be that much more for a limo, if they would apply the 2 hour minimum for round trip time. Or is getting a taxi eaiser? The Islander Posted February 15, 2007 #2 Share Posted February 15, 2007 Hello, Not sure what the going rate is here for limos. If you do a google search for limos in st. thomas you will find a few - see how much it cost. Let us know what you find out. --Islander
theostwalts Posted February 15, 2007 Author #3 Share Posted February 15, 2007 I have found two, serinity and gonzi's. Gonzi's list the price at $95.00 per hour with a two hour minimum. I do not know of they would do 3 hours and split it up between the ride to and from red hook with a little shopping time on the way back. I did a search and saw a lot of your information on taxi service as well. To get to and from red hook what would you reccommend. Thanks,
The Islander Posted February 15, 2007 #4 Share Posted February 15, 2007 Hello, I really don't know anything about the limo services here and how they do their fares so can't really answer your question; limo vs. taxi. If you contact them and get the scoop on the charges and see that it works out then sure why not get around in style ;). --Islander
