We are sailing on the POH November 12. Flying into Honolulu two days before any advice on hotels for Honolulu for two days before the cruise.

We have never sailed on NCL before, sounds like we need to make dinner reservations for each night early on... we are late eaters, any thoughts would be helpful.

Rumor has it that the bars on the POH are closed by 11:00PM, any truth to that rumor?

One last question was is this "blue chip" thing through the rental car place?

As you can see I need some advice. We have sailed 8 times between Princess and Royal Caribbean this seems like a new type of sailing.

Thanks

Beachchick just finished her "novellette" describing her cruise and some great thoughts about Hawaii. It's a must read. Hopefully, here's the link:

http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=476505 You'll find lots of Hawaii information on the Hawaii Boards. For POH just do searches. Over the past 9 months just about everything been covered.

The Blue Chip is Thrifty's Car Rental Program. Hope this helps.
