Tendering from Glory....ship excursion or ?

Hi...any experience on tendering into port on Glory??

we are the only ship in Belize that day, sailing in May

I am still undecided whether to tender in and take Coral Breeze tour to Altun Ha ...meets at the bar on the pier...

or to book Carnival excursion to Altun Ha, the one WITHOUT the River Wallace, the river tour does not interest me....

Does a ship tour really get you off the ship that much faster/easier in a tender port??

thanks in advance

We sailed on the Glory in April 2005 and did a snorkeling tour to Goff's Caye that departed right from the ship. We met at a lounge and then were escorted to a lower deck. We were going in front of lots of people to get our tender. Am sure that Carnival tours have first priority off the ship. I know on our cruise that some passengers did an independent tour to Caye Caulker and had to wait a couple of tours to get on a tender.
