Cuizer2 Posted February 18, 2007 #27 Share Posted February 18, 2007 Cruizer2, Where did you swim with the seals? I would love to do this Donna Same place as the dolphins - in Cozumel. Cost an extra $59.
Gingee Posted February 18, 2007 Author #28 Share Posted February 18, 2007 We signed up for the Dolphin Adventure Swim. It isn't the program where they push you up in the water by your feet. I guess you hold onto them and that is the way they move you around. Basically it was the middle of the road (so they say) in the programs
bububr Posted February 18, 2007 #29 Share Posted February 18, 2007 but have heard of others. IMHO: Okay blast me for this, but everyone keeps describing these creatures as 'animals', but in a derogatory aspect. Humans are animals also, and like dolphins we are MAMMALS also. I have seen and heard more reports of the HUMAN MAMMAL ANIMAL doing more harm and causing more deaths than the DOLPHIN MAMMAL ANIMAL. Being said dolphins are extremely intelligent, which is more than I can say for some humans I have seen and heard. Dave:eek:
Matronly Mom Posted February 18, 2007 #30 Share Posted February 18, 2007 We are doing a dolphin excursion on our next cruise. The photos were delightful to see. Our ship leaves one month from today, or in 28 days. But whose counting :)

johnql Posted February 18, 2007 #33 Share Posted February 18, 2007 Gad, I didn't think my question would cause problems. Sorry You have no reason to apologize. OTOH, I offer my apology to you. I allowed myself to be sucked into somebody else's trolling and, as a result, it sidetracked your thread. If you were somehow offended by my reply, I am sorry. It was in no way intended that way. I was just offering an opinion.

I would have to agree with you . . . I've never been asked to defend a dolphin . . . :p
