corsies Posted February 19, 2007 #1 Share Posted February 19, 2007 Hi All: My dad is looking for a cruise that covers most of the greek islands. Can anyone recommend a 10-12 sailing that covers mostly greek islands? He is looking to go may 2008 or october 2008 but time is flexible. We do not have much experience with mediterranean cruises. Thanks Corrie

vivian02 Posted February 20, 2007 #3 Share Posted February 20, 2007 Good choice going in May. The weather is nice, the crowds are light, and reasonable airfares can be purchased 5 to 8 months in advance. Probably the cheapest and easiest port to cruise out of would be Barcelona followed by Venice and then Rome. Remember Romes airport is 18 miles from the city and the port is in Civitavecchia. Make sure to fly in a few days in advance to get over jet lag. This should get you started. Tim
CruiseKidz Posted February 20, 2007 #4 Share Posted February 20, 2007 Emerald Princess is Princess cruises newest ship setting sail for the first time in April this year. I am booked on a September cruise from Civiavecchia (Rome) to Monte Carlo, Livorno, Naples and on to Santorini, Kusadasi (Turkey) Mykonos, Athens Katakolon & Corfu It is a 12 night cruise and finishes in Venice. It would be worth checking the reviews of this cruise as they come in this year. Cruisekidz
