RV parking

Okay, we will be traveling by RV to FL, and am not sure where to stay 1 night and park the behemoth for the week. Obviously, looking for the most cost effective and secure place to do both. Any suggestions would be appreciated!:D

There is RV parking at the pier-I believe you are charged for 2 spaces per day. Have a great cruise!;)

We actually currently have our RV parked at the Patrick AFB FamCamp which is about 14 miles away from the port. If your family has military base privileges (my DH is retired AF) that is an option.

The Port charges $10 per day for vehicles 20 feet or less and $20 per day for larger than 20 feet. Some of our FamCamp neighbors parked their RV in a for sale lot for the week of their cruise.

It's not cheap, but if I were sailing out of Port Canaveral, I think I would camp at Jetty Park the night before... It's right on the water and it's the place we go to watch the ships sail. Here's a link to the park: http://www.jettypark.org/

Have a great time! :)
