Help for a newbie....Midnight Buffet question...

Obviously I've never cruised....and I've read a lot about this "buffet". What is the the significance of it? Is the food just that incredible?

I would go with pretty much incredible! We are usally too full to eat again but they open it up for photos only for the first 40 minutes or so it is a must see atleast once!:p

The Gala Buffet is a fashion show for food:p They have ice sculptures, fruit and veggie carvings and other interesting food items to look at. Its basically a food photo op.

 

30-45 mins before you can eat people are allowed to walk past the long table of food and take pictures.

 

I dont find the food any better than what is served anywhere else, its more about presentation and tradition.

 

Im sure others will chime in with different thoughts.

Its where the Culinary experts do their thing, but the food isnt the greatest. Just go and check it all out.
