tef43 Posted July 30, 2004 #1 Share Posted July 30, 2004 I just got email from Blaine Selkirk, one half of the "2slick" duo that has been playing on various Carnival ships for what seems years. We saw them most every night on the Triumph in January and absolutely loved them. One reviewer characterized the lead singer, Graham Cook, as "a cross between Devo and Billy Vera." Regardless, they are great entertainment. Anyway, they are currently on vacation, but will be signing on the Pride in August for their "final" run on Carnival. Blaine said they hope to be opening in Vegas in October or November. If your cruise travels take you on the Pride in the next couple of months, don't miss these guys! 2slick's "Isla Zivile/Dayo" medley may be heard on Permanent Vacation Radio. tef43 Posted July 30, 2004 Author #3 Share Posted July 30, 2004 Blaine said they were *starting* on the Pride in Aug. They should still be there in mid-September. Don't miss them if you get the chance to see them.
