Will this discount effect me?

I just got this email form Carnival. I am winder if this discount will effect my price. I booked a category 6A cabin and got upgraded to a 6D. I do not see either listed below.Can I still get a discount? How long after I book can I expect to get a discount?Thanks!

It sounds like you already have most of the offer other than on price. You already have the best available upgrade. The upgrade is within category, ie, 4A-4D, 6A-6D, 8A-8I

I was a little confused about how to get discounts after booking. So I was unsure if they directly had to mention my category or not.Thanks for your replies.
