finding gtd room #

Here is something I copied from an old post somewhere on this board:

 

 

Having said that; go to Carnival.com, go to "my reservation" and click on "gifts and services". Attempt to order anything from the list and you will then be prompted to enter your booking # and cabin #. Since you don't know your cabin #, start with the highest deck #'s and enter one of them. You will get an error message. Go to the next cabin # in order and continue until you get a window showing the names of the guests booked in the cabin and a request as to which name the gift is for. When that appears, you have just found your assigned cabin. Be aware however, that while not likely, this could change before you sail. Also, unless you are really lucky, this process can be quite time consuming, lol.

I booked directly with Carnival and registered online. I kept going each day to My Reservation (had to sign in) and clicked on "modify booking". It said IS GTD.(inside guarantee.) Last week that changed to an assigned cabin number. I hope it stays becuase it is an oceanview on the Empress deck. That would be great.

You will only see it if you booked direct with Carnival... otherwise, no such luck and your only option really would be to just punch in every cabin until it comes up...if you do it too early, you will just be wasting your time...
