Has anyone stayed at this hotel, feedback please

I, too, am interested in any feedback that can be given on this hotel. At $70/night (including cont. breakfast) it sounds like a good deal to me.

 

And if anyone has stayed here...how far is it from the port (and how much is a taxi)??

La Quinta is about 4 miles west of the airport - the port is about 6 miles east of the airport. IMO not a good choice. Nothing near it except Wendy's & McDonalds. Try to find something near Bayside, Coconut Grove or Brickell for things to do within walking distance & a short ride to the port. If you're only staying overnight and don't need to have anything to do, look for Downtown near the port - but definitely go East of the airport ...
