Liberty Cabins

Hi Everyone,

I'm planning a cruise on the Liberty next year and I'm torn between a category 9A at the rear of the ship and a category 11 suite. The size of the cabins look almost the same on the deck plans. Does anyone know if this is true. I thought being in the back of the ship might be cool for a change but I also like the extra room in the 11 suites.

Thanks!

We just had the exact same discussion at our house  !! I was uncomfortable giving up cabin space - and the sofa - just for the bigger balcony. Don't get me wrong - we LOVE the balcony, but I also like to have a place to sit in the cabin that is not the bed. But that is just me

But after many phone calls and detailed comparisons of one cabin with another we went with the 9A - on the Upper Deck. My CVS swears it has the sofa and the minibar/fridge along with the giant wrap around balcony. So we plunked down the deposit - even though we are 368 days  from sailing!!!

We have never had a Cat. 11 - but the one that my sister had on the Triumph was not much bigger that our aft cabin and our balcony was much larger that theirs. Granted they had a lovely - beautiful - bathroom with a tub. But for us the bathroom is not worth the extra $$$ for the Cat. 11. Besides we really, really, really like our aft cabins and the bigger balcony is just an added bonus.
