MISSSNOOPYGIRL Posted February 27, 2007 #1 Share Posted February 27, 2007 Has anyone cruised to Bermuda? I am thinking of going this November. Likes/dislikes? And do you have any experience with the weather there, especially in November? I want a warm vacation and am worried it may start to get too cold. We were on a cruise to Bermuda in early November of 2005. The weather was picture perfect! Couldn't have asked for a more delightful vacation. We were on one of the last cruises of the season so the crowds were significantly smaller than normal, yet the beaches were PERFECT and the water still warm. A couple rain showers one day, but did not last long. I recommend going to Bermuda in early November!
Host Kewlguy Posted March 2, 2007 #3 Share Posted March 2, 2007 We prefer visiting Bermuda in the fall verses the spring or summer. The weather is cooler but still warm enough to swim and enjoy the beaches. Also the water is warm. The latest we visited Bermuda was the last week in October and it was still in the low 80's. Dolphins Posted March 13, 2007 #4 Share Posted March 13, 2007 The beach waters in Bermuda are warmer in early November than in May. A good time to go and less crowded than in summer and early fall.
CaribbeanBound Posted March 14, 2007 #5 Share Posted March 14, 2007 Here is a very detailed review of our cruise to Bermuda. We were there for a week. We stopped in Hamilton and St. George. Hints and tips about the ship, island transportation, beaches, caves, forts and sea glass. http://www.lavasurfer.com/info/bermuda.html For example, did you know that Fantasy Cave is a much better cave than Crystal? Did you know you could walk from St. George to a beach with a small cave on the shore and gather all the sea glass you can carry? Did you know you can easily walk to an incredibly cool Fort in Hamilton that has underground passageways and a deep moat (now a botanical garden) you can explore? Enjoy your trip.
