texas hold 'em on the Grand?

First off I want to say thanks to everyone who has answered our questions over the past couple weeks!

 

We sail on the Grand this Friday and I was curious if the casino offered any no limit hold em tournaments. I read older posts about limit hold 'em. just curious if any recent cruisers played any no limit.

They sometimes have no-limit mini-tournaments in the evening, if there is any interest. Let the dealers know you'd like one, and they might set one up. The ones I remember were just single-table events.

There were no limit hold 'em satelite tournaments every night at 10 p.m. on the Grand last week. The buy in was $15. Winner won entry into the final tournament Friday night. Buy in for that was $80. Top three places paid out; I think the winner got $500.

And I swear the dealer only had a deck of bad cards :). I've never seen so many unplayable hands before in my life. Heck, the one hand I had that I actually won on I ended up winning with my 6 high (two pair on the board).
