letsrun26 Posted February 28, 2007 #1 Share Posted February 28, 2007 I was wondering if anyone knows why you can't obtain prices for cruises on RCCL past April '08. Also, in looking at staterooms, there's a description that the stateroom category listed is only through 4/27/08. Are we about to see a price increase disguised as new stateroom categories?
petel Posted February 28, 2007 #2 Share Posted February 28, 2007 Is this question about one ship - which one? or all RCI listings? First we've heard of this............ 'em
prc Posted February 28, 2007 #3 Share Posted February 28, 2007 Fleetwide, the schedules, prices, iteneraries are only available until the end of April '08. the '08/'09 schedules& pricing should start coming out around the first of May, if history is any indicator. The deck plans & cabin descripts will 99.99% not change, but since nothing is etched in stone past April '08, that disclaimer is put on everything. My goodness, I was sure it was time to change years. These schedules are so hard
leoandhugh Posted February 28, 2007 #5 Share Posted February 28, 2007 you really want to know "why" you can't get prices beyond April 2008. Any profit business would be crazy to list prices and commit themselves more than a year ahead. With fuel prices continuing to rise and also the cost of food and all the other things they and we buy, no company should commit beyond that year and even then they reserve the right (as so they should) to increase prices over and above those published.
