ESR24 Posted February 28, 2007 #1 Share Posted February 28, 2007 We will be in Grand Cayman, Roatan, Belize and Costa Maya and looking at booking non-cruise ship excursions. If our day in port is listed from 8am-5pm does that mean the ship leaves port at 5pm? Or is that the last tender to the ship? I'm a little confused! The ship will be pushing out from the pier at 5pm. you should be back on board by at least 4:30 at the latest. Also stay on ships time, ships time is is where ever the home port is. It sounds like you will be sailing on the Valor by the ports you listed so ships time will be Miami time. Have a good cruise!!!
ESR24 Posted March 1, 2007 Author #3 Share Posted March 1, 2007 Thank you! I never even thought of the possible time differences! Will they post the times you have to be back on the ship by?
dardani Posted March 1, 2007 #4 Share Posted March 1, 2007 Yes, pay careful attention to ship time, which is broadcast on the TV...and yes, departure time is really departure time.
irishgirl Posted March 1, 2007 #5 Share Posted March 1, 2007 Read your Capers, they will have it in big letters on the front page if they are changing time for port. Every ship I've been on has changed time.
