well it would land up being a big deal if he won a jackpot...cause they wouldn't let him collect :p

So true, they might *let* the 16 y/o feed the slots, but when it time to payoff..I bet they will be checking ID's then.:D

wow, so harsh... big deal he played the slots

No he has not hit the jackpot but has won a couple of $$$. If he enjoyed the slots so what I'm sure he is not the only teenager in the Casino. As far as smoking and having a drink the staff did ofter him a drink and he "No" thank you. And if he did hit the jackpot they would be checking my ID instead of his and then he would have a drink after that.

He surely is not :) My older son when he was 16 had a grand time playing the slots. he and his then almost 13 yr old brother would play the ones closest to "an escape" as they put it. they won all the time. they had a full bucket of quarters in their room, while mine stayed empty...lol

They did it again when my older one was 19 but the younger one wasn't quite 16 and got "caught" when the younger one was playing the $1.00 slots and the lady next to him got all excited because he won $200 she started yelling good job and caught the attention of someone in the casino. They looked at him and asked him for his S&S card, my older son came over and talked to the guy, the guy let my older one take the money (they still used coins then) and told the younger one not to step foot in the casino again. I guess it was good it was almost the last day. Since the younger one is like that movie - vegas vacation - put a dollar in, win, put a dollar in, win :)

he used to give us a dollar and stand and watch and I swear every time we did that he'd win $40 or $20. In vegas he gave my husband a ten dollar bill and told him to put it in the $10 slot as we were walking thru. My husband did, and he won $500...lol

Over thanksgiving on the glory, he was nearly 20 then, he started with $50 to gamble and ended up the week going home with $100. And that was gambling every night, slots black jack, roulette.

I need to take him with me to vegas on his 21st birthday ;) Oh and they never give me money and ask me to pull the handle...lol they know I will just lose it on them

That is wrong. If he hit a jackpot he would get nothing. And you would get noth as well. Well you probably get a lecture and be told of the Rules. Remember they have camera's just like any other casino to make sure they pay the person who played the machine.

And for the Drink after, I hope you are talking about non-alcoholic drinks.
