what is the meaning of the things printed under your name? many say "cool cruiser", some have numerical things, like "5000+". does that mean cruises? one said "banned". what does that mean? just curious i.e. nosy. lauri (and if that 5000+meant 5000 cruises, i have to get a better job!)

I imagine it's determined by how many posts you've made to the boards. So "5000+" means the person has posted 5000 times.

dividedsky319 is absolutely correct, it has to do with how many post you have made on cruise critic, not how many cruises you have been on.

You're a Cool Cruiser until you hit 3,000 posts, when you become a Blue Ribbon cruiser. See ratings for more info if you want it. Banned means that person is no longer allowed to post, but any threads s/he started before the banishment live on.

I went and read the Guidelines closely and it doesn't give a clue! I would guess if it was temporary there would be some mention of how to be "rehabilitated", to borrow a word prevalent in the border crossing thread! :D
