dpboiler Posted March 1, 2007 #1 Share Posted March 1, 2007 My wife and I are looking to do some hiking while on shore for the day. Not to sound like isolationists, but spending our day with 100 others floating through a cave just isn't our thing. I would prefer a National park setting (vs. a contrived "eco-park"). A guide might be nice, but are looking to find a good area to get out in the jungle and experience it all on our time-frame. Does such a place exist with just hiking trails, w/out the fanfare of tours/gated entrances/ticket booths? We will have our infant in tow (backpacked), so not talking about a 7 hour loop with wild spitting monkeys, aggressive crocs, or baby-snatching dingos...Just a natural jungle setting. Thanks for any assistance!
EricaLovesCats Posted March 6, 2007 #2 Share Posted March 6, 2007 Maybe you can have Victor Bodden tours or the Cynthia & Diane tours guide you in the right direction? I am sure they would be able to set something like that up.
