Don Haynes Posted March 2, 2007 #2 Share Posted March 2, 2007 The dress up or not night, formally optional formal night is the second night aboard the ship. You are correct, that would be Monday night. It is also lobster night.

Don Haynes Posted March 2, 2007 #4 Share Posted March 2, 2007 Since NCL started freestyle dining, there have been no formal nights for years. First it was optional formal, now its dress up or not night. Less than half of the passengers will bother to pack and dress up on the dress up or not nights. Many have said less than a quarter will dress up. Resort casual is welcomed in all NCL restaurants and dining rooms every night. But old tradions don't fade away, many still dress up especially on the second and next to last night. With NCL you can dress up any night you wish, or not dress up at all.
