Gelato available on the Crown?

Have read a couple recent reviews of the Crown that mention the gelato "machine" is down in the International Cafe. Has anyone been on the ship in the past couple weeks who could say whether the gelato is available again or not? If so, how much does it cost? We will be on the Crown in a couple weeks and are big fans of gelato and are hoping it is available again. Thanks!

I was on the Crown last November, and yes you will find "gelato" at the International Café located in the atrium. It's not a "machine" but some kind of ice cream bar where you can select differents flavours. They charge 1.50$ for 3 scoops.

 

You will also find a "little" ice cream bar located outside near the main pool but nothing compare with the fabulous "gelato" from the International Café.

The gelato at the International cafe is lovely. But you have to try the chocolate covered frozen dessert they have down there in the gelato freezer. They are pyramid shaped and filled with gelato. Yummm:D
