And if you order Corona by the bucket, they pour them into plastic cups. Better drink them fast or the ice will melt and they turn over! (I only let that happen ONCE.) :o

I ordered Corona and it was already poured. On our last cruise they brought a bucket of ice and put the plastic cups with the beer in the cardboard six pack the bottles were in to hold them.

In your case that was pretty expensive ice.

What the heck is up with that? Why are Coronas poored into cups? Because the lids don't screw off or because they are glass bottles? When I cruised RCCL and NCL the buckets had glass bottles, Miller & Corona.

Leave the beer in the bottle, I'll bring a bottle opener thank you very much.

Plus at $5.60 a bottle it sounds like time to smuggle some of the distilled spirits on board!

Fins Up!

Carnival doesn't permit glass containers on the lido deck.

5.60 is for a 16 oz beer.

Glass bottles, drinking, pools, and sunbathers don't mix well. I never allow glass near the pool at home for the same reason.

Anyone remember the good old days, when the Drink of the Day came in logoed Carnvial glasses? We have a few of them. I hate the plastic ones.

Mark

We still have some of them and one "ship on a stick" that is on a MARBLE base!!
