Port Everglades - Hard to get taxi?

When leaving the ship, how hard is it to find taxis to take you to the Ft. Lauderdale airport? We are 8 people so we will need 2 taxis. Is it so crowded that you have to fight for taxis or are they plentiful enough to handle all the people that need them?

there is a taxi stand outside the terminal, a few weeks ago when we were there you just get in line and they continously run, we waited about 5 minutes, I dont think you will have a problem, Have a great cruise

We have always found a porter (or actually one finds us) to haul our luggae and they took us directly to a taxi. When we've had a lot of luggage or a lot of people, we've been taken to a van or two. I love sailing in and out of Port Everglades.
