You can go directly to Chankanaab park, I was there a few years ago and enjoyed watching from the side line. We did the dolphin discovery in Riviera Maya a different year during an all inclusive resort vacation. check out this website, http://www.cozumelparks.org.mx/eng/attr-dolphin.asp or http://www.*****cozumel/. We enjoyed relaxing at Chankanab and did a little snorkeling, my first time so nothing to compare it to. They also had a mayan ruins replica area, I enjoyed that too, stumbled into an extremely large iguana, it had to be about 3 feet long!
