drwestlake Posted March 6, 2007 #1 Share Posted March 6, 2007 On the Majesty I may have the opportunity to move from Inside Superior - deck 6, forward to Oceanview - deck 4, may be obstructed.....for the same price. What cha' think?
Cubechick Posted March 6, 2007 #2 Share Posted March 6, 2007 There are no obstructed view cabins on deck 4. I would do it if I were you. I really enjoy having natural light!
drwestlake Posted March 6, 2007 Author #3 Share Posted March 6, 2007 ohhhh, I didn't know that, thanks. My vote is for it, but my husband thinks higher is better. In the beginning I really didn't care if we were in an inside cabin or not, but I am worried about how forward we are. Is there usually a lot of motion the further you are? Lthouselady Posted March 6, 2007 #4 Share Posted March 6, 2007 The best place to be to avoid sea sickess is the lower decks, midship. Less motion there. If the oceanview cabin is a superior like the inside one is, then definitely go for it!!! Even obstructed is better than no window for the same price!!!! drwestlake Posted March 8, 2007 Author #5 Share Posted March 8, 2007 Hey guys...we got upgraded to a superior ocean view with no extra cost. Just asked my TA to make the changes and within a day it was taken care of. I checked the deck plans and it is not obstructed. Curious, all our e-docs have our old cabin info on them including our luggage tags. I'm assuming when we arrive they will pull up our new room, but what to do about the tags? OceanDreaming2 Posted March 8, 2007 #6 Share Posted March 8, 2007 Just cross off the old info and write the new cabin number on them. We did that and it worked just fine.
