Cayman Snorkeling

Hello-I am traveling on RCCL. Has anyone done the Reel and Wreck snorkel tour? What were the pro's and cons? How was the equipment? How was the tour operator?

 

Has anyone done the Grand Cayman Snorkeling tour? If anyone has done both, is there one that was better? Also with the grand cayman snorkeling tour how was the tour operator and equipment? Any thing I should be aware of?

 

What is the catamaran sail and snorkel tour like? How much time do you spend snorkeling?

 

Lastly, any info on the spanish bay reef resort tour would be appreciated? Is it worth the money? Is it as secluded as it claims to be?

we did the reef and wreck last october. it was great for a 1st time snorkeling excursion. the weather was ok...sunny at times, then a lite drizzle other times. they gave a short how to for 1st-timers which was brief and to the point, so you didnt waste too much time at the 1st snorkel spot. i would say if you have a choice then you should do the later one. we did this one, and the captain said the morning tour had some cloudy conditions. one of the crew members jumped into the water 1st to try and stir up some fish and other water creatures. all in all me and my g/f enjoyed this very much, and would def reccomend it to anyone.

with the GC tour, what were the pros and cons? Did you have to jump off a boat or did you enter via the beach? How long did you snorkel for?
