CarrieBl Posted March 6, 2007 #1 Share Posted March 6, 2007 We leave on the March 19th cruise with our DD (12) and DS (7) and (4). I've seen some Capers but not for this cruise in particular. I'm hoping there's enough to do on a 4-day for them. DH and I used to cruise, but stopped once the 2nd child came along and the grandparents were no longer up to babysitting for a week! We're taking the kids hoping that they'll love it so we can do a 7-day out of Texas next March. Any info you can give me on the Paradise 4-day for kids would be appreciated, thanks! crusinmama06 Posted March 6, 2007 #2 Share Posted March 6, 2007 I know the 4 and 7 year old will have lots to do because we were just on a Carnival 4 day in December, all of the camp carnivals are pretty much the same, my children were in that group (the 2-5 and the 6-8 group). They were never bored. They did face painting, pirate parade, build a buddy (like build a bear), games, watched movies, played computer games, had a dance party and slumber party, crafts, etc I am not aware of the 12 year old activities...maybe someone else here? AdeleMc Posted March 6, 2007 #3 Share Posted March 6, 2007 Just got off the Paradise a couple weeks ago with my 5 yr old. There was plenty of activities for him,. What I DID like about this versus some of the longer cruises I've been on is that Camp Carnival actually started the first night on board at 7pm. On some of the longer cruises, the first night is "Family" night where you have to accompany your child during all of the activities. Since this is a shorter cruise, maybe Carnival realizes that parents need to "cut loose" too! PS In OCt, my son will have been on his 10th CCL cruise, so he is a pro at Camp Carnival.
