MrGolf Posted March 6, 2007 #1 Share Posted March 6, 2007 Hello, My wife and daughters (4 and 7) were thinking about taking the sub ride. Anyone have any experience with this and if so, how was it? Also, when booking through Carnival, do they take care of the transfers? Thanks, in advance, for any assistance.

I did the Atlantis Sub tour about 10 years ago......was really a lot of fun. They have a diver outside the sub that feeds some of the fish to bring them in so you can get a good close-up look. Unless it has changed - you have to be able to transfer (sort of hop over with help) from the boat that takes you out to where the sub comes up and then go down the ladder into the sub. Enjoy ! :)

We booked thru. carnival and the bus was right outside gate and basically drove you to the front of harbour where you get on a boat that takes you to the sub. We saw alot of sea life and a few sharks. They are not the huge sharks but they are sharks. The kids will most likely love it! If you do book this then make sure you put tape over the flash area so that there is no reflection from the flash.
peterv Posted April 20, 2007 #4 Share Posted April 20, 2007 Does anyone know where the boat to the sub leaves from? Is it from Havensight, or downtown? Cheers, Peter
