Smoking at the Adults Only Pool

We have cruised Disney before with our two children, but have never been able to "sneak-off" by ourselves to the adults only pool area.

We are cruising on March 18 for 4 nights on the Wonder. I am hoping that my husband and I can spend a few hours one day lounging by the adults only pool.

However, I thought that I read somewhere that smoking is allowed in this area. If that is the case, then the area has lost some appeal for us. We are both non-smokers and do not care for the smell.

Any information anyone can provide would be greatly appeciated. I am hoping that if smoking is allowed, it is restricted to one side. If you can smoke anywhere around the quiet cove area, then I guess we will not be enjoying the area as much as I had hoped.

Also, is smoking allowed in the new coffee/wine bar near the adults only pool?

Thank you,

Nancy

Smoking is permitted outside Cove Cafe (the coffee shop). There is a seating area there. You can smoke outdoors on the port side of the vessel only.

Dear rrfsteve,

Thanks so much for taking the time to reply to my question. Sounds like we will be fine if we stay on the starboard side of the adults only pool.

I see you are from Scotland. We had a stop there in 2003 on our British Isles and Norweigan Fjords cruise. It is a beautiful country and we would love to return sometime in the near future and spend a week or two. A day is definitely not long enough.

Thanks for taking time to post.

Nancy

I know the question has been answered, but I wanted to comment on the cruise we were on several weeks ago. My Wife and I quite smoking after 20 years of it just a month before our cruise. I was amazed at how few folks were smoking, only twice did I see or smell it! It made our quitting much easier.
