Mateo Posted March 7, 2007 #1 Share Posted March 7, 2007 My wife and I and our two kids, ages 6 and 9 will be on NCL to Alaska in August. Was wondering if someone could recommend any downhill bike excursions that are suitable for kids? Open to any other recommendations that are kid friendly. Ketchikan, Juneau, Skagway. wolfie11 Posted March 7, 2007 #2 Share Posted March 7, 2007 The terrain in SE Alaska is very steep. I don't know of any downhill bike tours that would be suitable for children of that age. The bike tour down the highway in Skagway is, IMHO, dangerous for adults let alone children.
